Happy humans & horses
Here's the tale of two horses I've helped to find their way home.

Billy Hansel
The professionally produced BFG
When an adult amateur friend told me she was looking for a horse that was big and kind, the 18-hand head-turner Hansel really ticked the right boxes. Bred by the world-class Billy Stud, this affectionate gelding was sympathetically brought on from an inexperienced youngster to a well-educated and successful 3'6+ jumper by Jenna Butler-Smith, a talented young professional in the UK.
He's since adjusted well to his new lifestyle as a hunter in Michigan, earning a number of impressive ribbons throughout the season and bringing home a blue in a class of 36 at the 2022 WEC Indoors in Ohio.
I'd say to keep an eye out for Billy Hansel on the HJAM circuit, but you really can't miss him!

Casimar II W
The talented youngster

When I started shopping for another adult amateur, I certainly didn't set out looking for a 5-year-old. But when we saw a video of Casimar (aka Woody) and his fabulous, floaty canter, it was obvious that he was well worth a look. Easily one of the nicest horses I've sat on, I was delighted to see Woody off to his new home in Michigan in August 2022. He's since made his A-circuit debut at the World Equestrian Festival in Ohio, earning some great ribbons against tough competition and beautifully settling into his new job as an American Hunter.
Expect exciting things from this wonderful young horse in 2023!
